Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

Madrid welcomed community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to highlight diversity and coexistence. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers shared personal, cultural and institutional news eurovision perspectives on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.

In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
